The mission of
the Justice and Peace Council of St. Mel Parish is to:
- Educate
the parishioners of St. Mel Parish on the principles of Catholic
Social teaching and its application to local, national, and international
issues of our time;
- Advocate
for public policy which affirms human life and human dignity through
a consistent life ethic;
- Develop a
constituency
on social concerns.
