Employment Workshop

The Justice & Peace Committee of St. Mel R. C. Church is sponsoring a one-day workshop for parishioners seeking new employment opportunities. This comprehensive workshop, presented at St. Mel's in the past by the Justice and Peace Committee, is always overwhelmingly received. It is fun, interactive, and extremely informative.

Oi Partners/The McGuire Group will again be presenting again the workshop. Representatives of this Human Resources consulting firm will cover the following topics:

Characteristics of the Job Market
Skills analysis
Resume development
Networking techniques
Research sources
Employment search methods
Telephone use
Cover letters
Interviewing techniques
The Internet & Web
Campaign development

The workshop will be held on Saturday, June 5 starting at 9:30 AM in the O'Connor Activity Center. The workshop will conclude promptly at 4 PM. There will be an hour for lunch.
